About Me

1 Anna B. Alcalá is a bilingual Spanish-English Marriage and Family Therapist and maintains a private practice in Camarillo, CA. A graduate of the California State University Northridge with a Master of Science degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy option. Her area of expertise includes working with children, adolescents, and adults going through challenges in their lives affecting their functioning. Anna has experience working with victims of crime and trauma survivors.

In addition to being a well respected relationship therapist, Anna has authored a couple of workbooks: "Bouncing Back from Child Sexual Abuse" and " I Love and Protect Myself, " along with their Spanish counterparts: "Recuperándose del Abuso Sexual Infantil" and "Me Quiero y Me Protejo" respectively.

Anna B. Alcalá works collaboratively with clients providing highly personalized treatment to help increase their levels of functioning in social, academic, work, and/or family interactions. Anna uses cognitive-behavioral, experiential, attachment-based, and solution-focused interventions to help clients meet their treatment goals.
